Our Unmai bangles are as beautiful as the story behind their creation. Available in a variety of glorious colors, these bangles are handmade in villages in Sri Lanka using fair trade, hand loomed cotton fabrics.
Hand loomed fabrics are created through a pain staking process of weaving and dying cotton by hand. This practice preserves the traditional hand looming techniques that date back to Sri Lanka’s inception and provide vital work for women in Sri Lanka’s rural communities.
