With over thirty years of experience in the entertainment industry including nightclubs, restaurants, event, radio and TV production. Dj Speir aka Robert Sussman started designing sound, video and lighting systems for nightclubs in 1985.
Robert has mastered the cloud-based technology sector to build a world class infrastructure that supports all Speir websites and live streaming capabilities, "Sometimes you just have to dig in and personally learn how things work by building them yourself first" Robert Sussman.
Robert has been a DJ for some of the hottest clubs in the United States, and at the age of fifty-seven is currently ranked at #365 (2018) for the people's choice and has ranked in the top 100 Dubstep (2017) and 300 Progressive House (2017) DJS in the world on The DJ List.
In 2008 Robert started building his first music streaming website HouseDanceClub.com featuring his audio mixes. Robert started mixing music video in the early eighties at Sylvia's on Cedar in downtown St. Paul Minnesota and is still mixing video today. With the launch of Netflix's movie streaming service, he saw the opportunity to take his video mixes to the global market.
The first video streaming site www.Speir.TV was launched in 2011 and by 2013 Speir.TV was streaming live video mixes to people all over the world.
Robert has built a social media following of over one million fans and has leveraged his social media following to drive visitors to the Speir branded websites.
It all started with a routine dental exam and during the cleaning my gums started bleeding uncontrollably. My dentist tried everything realizing something was really wrong he took me around the corner to my doctors office (the advantage of growing up in a small town).
My doctor sent to Good Samaritan Hospital on Salem Ave in Dayton Ohio and I was admitted with really low platelets and that is why I was bleeding and bruising so much.
I was living at the Dayton Towers at the time then the Landing when it opened. I went out to visit Don in Arizona and decided to move out there at the end of 1998.
Don and his father Don owned Millstone Bakery which produced some of the best granola cereal I have ever had. Don was also an awesome baker and created organic breads that where sold in health food stores all over Arizona, delivered fresh everyday.
I was admitted to Covenant House Nursing Home in Trotwood Ohio, I was going to stay while my parents went on vacation for ten days so they would not have to worry about me while they were gone. I would have to say knowing what I know now that it was the best decision I have ever made in my life fo so many reasons.
You will see over the ongoing timeline just how many reasons I have to be thankful for Covenant House Nursing Home that was owned and operated at the time by The Jewish Federation of Greater Dayton and the teams behind it.
I have made lifelong friends with the staff and met some of the most amazing people in my life that were all on their final earthbound journey before leaving for the eternal one.
I went from living in at Covenant House a Jewish Kosher nursing home to living with the retired Priests and Nuns at Mercy Siena Village on North Main Street in Dayton Ohio.
I Lived at Siena for a year when my lease was ready to renew my mother had asked me if I wanted to move to Arizona and of course I said YES!
